Superb service- Amazing meals- definitely get the meals. So much delicious food that we could barely finish it all. Welcoming town- everyone we interacted with and especially the people running the inn were genuinely kind and lovely.
Spacious- the lodging itself was HUGE with lots of beds and sinks. It could comfortably fit 8 people. Highly recommend this inn and the town as a whole.

    みちのく潮風トレイルの途中で利用しました。
    清潔で食事も美味しく、満足でした。
    みちのく潮風トレイルを歩く人にとって、このお宿があるかないかで結構難易度が変わってきますので、機会があればオススメしようと思います。

Staff were great. Haruka came to get us from the station and coordinated with the Okamisan. They also arranged a folk dance performance by the local high school. The food was very good.

Had a wonderful stay at Ohakozakinoyado. You feel welcome and staff enjoy showcasing local culture and foods. Comfortable, clean, appointed with everything you need. The inn also sits right along the Michinoku Coastal Trail so would be perfect for those through-hiking.
